Macki, Hospital Administrator
Macki has served as the clinic administrator since 2010. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2004 with a degree in College Education and feels that her experience in an unrelated field to veterinary medicine has given her a unique perspective. She lives with her husband, Jeff, on their family farm and spends her time away from the clinic raising their four daughters, writing, reading, gardening, and painting.
Chase, Office Manager & Veterinary Technician
Chase joined the team at Smith Animal Hospital in 2019. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences (Pre-Vet) from Mississippi State University in 2021. Prior to working at the clinic, Chase worked at McMillan & Cunningham Small Animal Hospital. Chase’s pet family includes a cat named Kilo and a dog named Marshall.
Anna, Certified Veterinary Technician
Anna has been a member of the staff at Smith Animal Hospital since 2021. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University’s Veterinary Medical Technology program and graduated in 2025. Anna has a dog named Costa. A fun fact about Anna is that she is a certified rat tickler.
Hayes, Veterinary Technician
Hayes became a member of the staff at Smith Animal Hospital in 2023. Prior to that, Hayes worked at All Creatures Vet Hospital in Port Gibson for several years. She obtained an associate degree in art from Hinds Community College in May of 2025. Hayes enjoys drawing and painting in her free time.
