Dr. Smith has spent his life tending animals. Dogs, cats, horses, pigs, birds, and even reptiles love him. He moved to Starkville from Stuart, Florida to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. He graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.
After graduation, Dr. Smith took a job at Eaves Animal Hospital. In 2010, he purchased the clinic and renamed it Smith Animal Hospital. He always strives for excellence, ensuring your animals receive the best care the Golden Triangle can offer.
When he’s not in the office, he lives on his family farm with his wife, Macki, and his four daughters, Mackinzie, Adelyn, Adessa, and Millie. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, construction projects, mechanical work, and recounting stories of his time on commercial fishing boats off the coast of Cordova, Alaska.
